Maze Trailer 

For several weeks in June, the department was able to get the

Tennessee Firemen's Association Mobile Training Unit (or "maze trailer").

This provided a good opportunity for the firefighters to train in

confined spaces. 

Donning full turnout gear and SCBA, a two-man

team would enter the maze and follow the tight corridors and narrow

passageways while completely in darkness.

After approximately 10 minutes, the team would emerge from the maze.

With 90 degree temperatures, it was a challenge but it

was also a valuable training exercise.
