Three Rookie Firefighters Graduate From State Fire Academy
On May 22, 2009, three of our newest firefighters, Tyler Harvey,
Matt Mason and Chris McDonald graduated from the
10-week recruit class at the Tennessee Fire and Codes
Enforcement Academy in Bell Buckle, Tennessee.
During this on-site class, the men learned all aspects of
fire apparatus and fire suppression. They graduated with their
Firefighter I certification and returned to the department
to begin their permanent shift assignments.
