Meet Cameron Blake Parker
Cameron served as the Middle Tennessee and Southern Kentucky Goodwill
Ambassador for the Muscular Dystrophy Association in 2005 and 2006.
He has become dear to the members of the Hendersonville Fire Department
for his bravery and courage while battling this terrible disease.
Cameron has always had an interest in firefighting and has worked to educate his
classmates and other people about fire safety to help prevent fires.
He has worked with our members during our Fill-The-Boot Campaign to raise funds
for children and adults affected with a neuromuscular disease.
On August 28th, Mayor Scott Foster appointed Cameron as Honorary Deputy
Chief of the Hendersonville Fire Department.
Cameron is an outstanding 9 year old student and third grader at Wright
Elementary School in Mt. Juliet, Tennessee.
