Why did you join the Hendersonville Fire Department?
The Hendersonville Fire Department appealed to me because
it is progressive and growing. Before becoming a Fire Fighter
for the Hendersonville Fire Department, I worked for the Lebanon,
Brentwood and Nashville Fire Departments.
What do you like most about the Hendersonville Fire Department?
I like being a part of a team that deals with a wide variety of situations.
What is the most significant development in your career?
The improvement of our apparatus and equipment has allowed
me to do my job more efficiently and with greater safety.
Any community activities?
I actively support the American Red Cross, United Way, Agape,
Nashville Rescue Mission, NPT and several other deserving organizations.
What are your future plans?
I plan to continue my work with the Hendersonville Fire
Department, focusing on the development of my career.
I am currently in my 16th year as a State of Tennessee Fire
Fighting Commission Field Representative.
On a more personal note, I want to continue to do a little
traveling and spending time in the great outdoors.
Tell us about your family
My older brother, Wayne, lives in Nashville.
I have a Rat Terrier named Buster.
