Why did you join the Hendersonville Fire Department?
It was my desire to serve the community where I was born and
raised and have so many friends and family members.
What do you like most about the Hendersonville Fire Department?
We have some of the best men in the country serving in this department.
I feel so blessed to call them my friends. We are like family,
from the Chief down to the newest firefighter.
What is the most significant development in your career?
My recent promotion to Captain and becoming a nationally
and state certified paramedic. I have also gained some life-long friends.
Any community activities?
I have worked with the Christmas for Kids Foundation.
Also, in the past, I helped coach a kid’s football team of 7 and 8 year olds.
What are your future plans?
I plan to continue enjoying working as a Captain in the best
fire department in the country, with some of the best firefighters anywhere.
Also, I look forward to the possibility of getting
married this year to my very patient fiancé.
Tell us about your family
My fiancé, Rhonda Schneider, her two children,
daughter, Bailey Schneider - 16 and son, Jon Brandon Schneider – 20,
my parents, Mr. & Mrs. Robert C. Bush, one sister, Shelly
and two brothers, Randy and Mike.
