Fire Inspector Paul Varble Named

Firefighter of the Year for 2008

Fire Inspector Paul Varble has been employed by the Hendersonville Fire Department

since September, 2001.  He is a state certified Emergency Medical Technician,

Journeyman Firefighter, Haz Mat Technician and Fire Inspector. 

Paul is a member of our Fire Prevention Bureau and was promoted to Inspector

in April, 2009.  He was instrumental in beginning our department's

Honor Guard which has become one of the premier fire department honor guard

units in the State of Tennessee.

Paul of very deserving of this recognition as evidenced by his

dedication and commitment to our department.
