Former Home of Johnny & June Cash

Destroyed by Fire

In the early afternoon hours of Wednesday, April 11, 2007,

our department responded to a structure fire at the

former home of Johnny & June Cash on Caudill Drive.

When the engines arrived, the home was completely

consumed by fire and was unable to be saved.

The home had been purchased approximately one

year ago by Barry Gibb of the Bee Gees and renovations

were underway.  It is believed that Mr. Gibb will rebuild

on this lot which sits on the banks of Old Hickory Lake.
