Our Badge Ceremony   

June 9, 2007

The department recently held a badge and swearing

in ceremony for our eighteen new rookie firefighters.

The ceremony was held in the auditorium at

Hendersonville High School.

A slide show of their accomplishments was viewed

and comments made by Chief Steele. 

After taking their firefighter's oath, their badges

were presented to them and pinned on by

a family member or friend.

over the past 10 months.

A special tribute was made to Firefighter, EMT Joel Smith

who will shortly be deployed to the Middle East.

With him is his wife, Meredith.
